Joe Mendoza Jr. AKA - DJ Doesha (Doe-Shuh):

 

Although originally from El Paso, Texas, DJ Doesha was raised In San Pedro, California (Cali-Texan) and started DJ’ing when he got his first Technics 1200 turntable in 1997. Shortly after, he started attending hip hop events and parties at Legendary Underground spots like “Project Blow” in Leimert Park, where he played to a live crowd for the first time. A day he credits for giving him the confidence to start his career as a DJ.

 

Over the past 15 years, DJ Doesha has made appearances at LA Art Walk, various volunteer events, celebrity charities, weddings, backyard boogie's, private parties, kids parties, anniversaries, B-boy events, art galleries, and birthdays.

 

DJ Doesha’s passion for music saw him through the rise and fall of vinyl, tapes and CD’s. He has now transitioned to laptops and hard drives where he has amounted an impressive collection of music across all genres. His passion pushes him to hold each event to the highest standard, a passion that translates through his enthusiasm off and on the Mic. He knows how to control a party and move the audience with music and banter.

 

Today, DJ Doesha is an accomplished DJ with experiences in all types of music and celebration, whose passion to music and showmanship makes him the perfect DJ for all events.

 

His influences in (no particular order) include: Roc Raida (RIP), DJ Craze, DJ A-Trak, DJ Qbert, DJ Z Trip, DJ Klever, Mix Master Mike, DJ Revolution.
